The Woodlawn Sportsmen’s Club has been in operation for more than 60 years and is dedicated to fellowship, training & education. Safety is our number one priority.

Woodlawn currently conducts all of its activities and programs on a 20-acre site located in Guilderland, NY. The Club operates as a “Members Only” organization, however many of the Club’s activities and leagues are open to the general public. Guests are welcome to enjoy our facilities during events that are open to the public.

Woodlawn has three outdoor ranges for firearms: 117-yard range for rifle/shotgun; 25-yard range for handguns & .22 rimfire; 5-point Trap field (shotgun). Archery includes field and 3D ranges.

We have events and competitions for trap shooting, archery, rifle and pistol enthusiasts. This is merely a brief summary of our events. Please explore the site for more information and details.

The 2025 dates are on the following Saturdays, from 8AM to 2PM: April 5, June 7, September 13 and November 22.

NRA Training Classes

The next NRA Training Class is going to be the Basic Pistol Course. You will also have the opportunity to take additional courses to become an NRA Certified Instructor in this discipline. Check the Home Page/Club Announcements and look for emails from Woodlawn NRA Training Liaison for dates at the end of May into June.

Limited copies of these documents are also available in the Clubhouse near the sign-in book. Trap Updates

Trap is open to the public all year on Sunday mornings starting at 9AM. It remains open throughout the winter based on participation and pending any extreme weather conditions and events. Wednesday Trap resumed March 26 at 6PM.

Updated Smoking Policy

ALL SMOKING IN THE BUILDING IS PROHIBITED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.

Buildings and Grounds is working on establishing an outdoor smoking area.
